To all readers of this website: I hope you enjoy your time spent visiting and reading up on the latest from MVP Performance and Customz! Mark our page and check back often for updated information on projects and new things we are doing.
MVP recently finished three racing bikes for Ducati for their upcoming tour in the Cross-Nations. Ducati had the highest expectations for us to help design and build them a champion’s bike and that’s just what we did for them. Ducati most recently came out with the much anticipated 1196 sport bike and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on it to pull all the power out of its redlined 20,000 rpm engine! Engineers helped us design and program our CNC machine to cut a bigger camshaft and new forged pistons based on their dimensions. We are very happy with the results in numbers we made over stock on these upgrades and we wish team Ducati the best in their upcoming events.
MVP is currently undertaking a new concept project with the Ford Racing Company. All though much information and details are going to be held under wraps until later this year when Ford decides to reveal their new concepts to the public in
Ford has been going all out in the past years to come out with new high performance vehicles as well as off road racing trucks such as the new "Raptor" (picture above). But now manufacturing is taking new approaches to performance based on the latest info from the sales and marketing department. Everyone likes to go fast, lets all be honest. Also everyone loves comfort and luxury, as well as good gas mileage and a reliable long lasting engine. The latest move in the industry is to wrap all of this into one. Which when you think about it can be quite a challenge.
Fords new concept combines all of the things a person could want. The new concept car is called the “Reflex”. The Reflex is powered by a twin turbo diesel-electric hybrid-drive system, incorporating a lithium-ion battery pack which Ford says can produce 60 mpg as installed. A novel all-wheel-drive system combines the front-drive hybrid system with an electric motor driving the rear axle as well. Though it may be a hybrid, this car is no baby. With a 0-60 time in 4.1 seconds this car screams all business when you lay on the pedal.
We are all very excited and can’t wait to get to work on this new car. As news and progress comes along on the Reflex there will be new posts so check back! Take it easy and ride hard.
